Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

Walking and cycling distance to Big Ivy, Pisgah Forest, home to mountain bike trails, and great hiking. NOTE: there is a second tiny 30 ft away, but TinyOne is still very private. You will have dedicated parking, your own private entrance, and access to hiking trails. High Speed Fiber optic internet makes connection a breeze, but we hope you won't be doing too much work. The Country Cottage is a perfect getaway for a couple. Our small farm setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains offers a comfortable place for our visitors to explore Asheville and Weaverville. With the Covid Situation, our cottage is a Safe Choice. It is a seperate building so we dont even have to meet, if that is your wish. Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.
