Old town romance in Uzedom

Our small apartment (44 m²) in Wolgaster Altstadt is looking forward to your visit :-) The apartment is centrally located between the harbor and the market. Restaurants, cafes, and shopping are within walking distance. A free parking space for smaller cars (quite tight, up to size VW Golf) is right outside the house entrance door. Larger cars can park for free in some parking spaces in the old town. The spa train runs not far from the apartment to the island of Usedom, as well as bus connections.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and particularly furnished with clay walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It is adjacent to the house, which we as a family with children live on an old three-sided courtyard. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: the Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburger Seenplatte, Peene, Tollense...

The apartment is on the ground floor of a three-family house in the original part of the old town, next to the market square. From here you can easily reach bakeries, cafes, restaurants, shops, banks and doctors. Five minutes walk to the UBB stop (staging baths, Greifswald, Stralsund )On foot the old harbor with museum ship, fish cart, canoe station, shipyard, ship moorings, boat rental and a boat equipment. The 40 sqm apartment consists of a room with sleeping places for two people, private kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the Steinseehaus, a long old brick building on a plot of 6000 sqm, directly on the lake. On our large plot there is plenty of space to relax, with a small barrel sauna (min 15€ per heating donation for the wood), large trampoline, ping pong table, fireplace, Hollywood swing at the lake and of course space for outdoor food and barbecue.

In 2016, the farm was completely refurbished and modernized. A mix of modernity and country house charm makes this a great vacation experience. Around it is a nature reserve of European rank: the Peenetal - with a fascinating flora and fauna. Fireplace evenings, bike rides, or boat tours on nearby Peene provide plenty of variety.
