Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quietly situated at about 360 m altitude. Nearest EK shops are 3,5km away. Hohenstein Castle (over 800 years old, 150m away) offers castle festivals in the summer for six weeks and is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 min away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig", "Burgensteig", "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" are within easy reach. Guests with bikes get their money's worth, e-bikes would be great.
