A delightful stay! The waterfront cottage is located near various amenities. A nice shopping center. The train station is a 10 min walk away, so you are within 20 minutes in Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans 15 minutes. The Strand, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful accommodation!

Het huisje ligt op loopafstand van de historische stad Medemblik en dichtbij Hoorn en Enkhuizen. Amsterdam ligt op 45 minuten afstand. Diverse mogelijkheden voor watersport. Strand, havens, winkels etc. bereikbaar binnen 5 minuten met de auto en lopend 25 minuten.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.
