This 200+ sqm apartment has a sensible and practical layout, thoughtfully appointed with all the necessities of home. Downstairs is an expansive living space, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. Single fold outs are made in Italy with latex mattress, and are comfortable for adults as well as children. The location and size of the apartment makes it the ideal location to get ready for your wedding day. Room to accommodate all of the groomsmen/bridesmaids (and their dresses!), as well as room for all to get their hair and make up done. A luxurious space to return to and spend your first night as a couple. There are snacks, cereal, Nespresso coffee and tea supplied, as well as a litre of real milk in the full size fridge. The Monash/Westgate/Tullamarine freeway is a minute's drive for easy access to all of Melbourne and Victoria by car, if you are planning a visit to the Phillip Island Penguins, the Yarra Valley Wine Region, the Mornington Peninsula or Surf Coast, to name a few. There are two on site undercover carparks if you are a local or have driven from interstate. This is a residential property with a live in building manager and security, who strictly enforce owners corporation Rules. It is not a hotel. Noise complaints will be made by other residents resulting in additional call out charges for security and/or police attendance. If you are a large group intending to make noise after 10.00pm (whether it is inside the apartment, or on your way in and out from the apartment), you really will not enjoy staying here. The whole apartment is yours to enjoy. There are 2 Bedrooms with quality mattresses, bedding and towels for up to 6 people. 1 Queen bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second. The 2 single beds in the second bedroom can be converted to a king size bed if needed. There is a portable cot on site if needed and blockout blinds in all rooms. The apartment will accommodate 4 guests, however we have a comfortable sofa bed that will accommodate 2 extra guests at an extra $20 per person per night. We love to travel and love helping travelers enjoy their stay in our apartment. If there is anything you need during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us. The apartment has been upgraded with new carpets, furniture, heaters and lighting. There is also access to internet & Netflix at no charge. Then there is a free shuttle bus to all the hotels just ask to be dropped off at the Quest Southbank in Kavanagh Street, or it’s around a 15 to 20 minute walk to the apartment. Otherwise a taxi is the best method, it will cost around $60 plus tolls and will deliver you directly to the building. Everything is within easy walking distance but public transport, rental bikes and the Melbourne Hop-on Hop-off buses are close at hand. Melbourne has a free tram zone around the city center only a 4 min walk away. The Free Tram will take you from - Federation Square to Melbourne Aquarium, Etihad Stadium, Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, Victoria Markets, Royal Exhibition Building, Fitzroy Garden and everything in between. You can walk just about anywhere in the CBD, Southbank and throughout gorgeous Carlton, home of the iconic Exhibition Buildings and gardens - which we are directly opposite! 4 major supermarkets within walking distance, along with pharmacies This huge studio is a short stay apartment - no one lives there and it is specifically set up for guests to have the most enjoyable stay. Fully equipped, including a welcome goody basket upon arrival, and a guest guide book full of our top tips to get the most out of your visit to the area. With a deco inspired entrance, wrought iron gates and solid brick exterior, it is one of the few residences from this era that remain in Melbourne. Our studio is set up for guests with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. It has just been fully refurbished (largely by us!) to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible. You can walk to the city centre in a few minutes. From the centre there are trams, trains and buses to take you anywhere in Melbourne. There is a bike hire stand directly across the road in front of the Exhibition Buildings. Free parking is on site if you have a car. Uber and Taxi services will be on your doorstep in minutes. This is a beautiful quiet building on the edge of the city and we appreciate the co-operation of our guests in respecting our neighbours during their stay by keeping the noise down. The studio is in a double brick building with windows on every side, so the temperature is always very comfortable. The ceiling fan with reverse heat function is all we have needed so far.

THE SPACE There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. It is perfect for that romantic getaway, two couples, the business traveller, or a small family. There is also a portable baby's cot. The apartment is fitted out with high quality fixtures and fittings. It has a European laundry and the fully equipped kitchen has quality appliances. The living and dining areas are designed to be stylish and contemporary, at the same time as being very comfortable and functional. There are two beautifully appointed bathrooms. Reverse cycle airconditioning and heating ensure that you will be comfortable all year round. The north facing balcony provides abundant natural light and overlooks the iconic ACDC Lane Hotel quality mattresses and high-grade linen ensure a good night's sleep, and double glazing provides a peaceful escape from the sounds of the busy city when needed. Well-equipped gymnasium Residents lounge with large screen television Rooftop garden with great views and barbeque (may be subject to private bookings by other residents). A small supermarket is just 50 metres away and is open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm (approximately) most days.
