Ancient key (chestnut dryer) in a Cévennes hamlet, near the Cévennes National Park and Regordane. Very quiet hamlet, beautiful view. To accommodate two people. A crib is available for children under 4 years old. Small equipped kitchen (microwave oven, electric stove, fridge, dishes) ; bathroom with shower, hot water, towels, shampoo soap. For breakfast : homemade jams (cherry, or chestnut, or fig, or apricot... or bitter orange) butter, bagged bread, coffee and electric coffee maker, green and black teas, milk. at your disposal to indicate walks, restaurants, tours to do : a large binder. On the slope of a mountain covered in chestnut and pine trees, with a beautiful horizon in view. The small hamlet has two monuments : a 16th-century chapel and a 400-year-old chestnut tree.

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars.
