Cosy walker’s retreat in The Old Mill on Dartmoor

Situated on the Two Moors Way, this is a perfect bolthole after a day exploring. This self-contained small annexe with private entrance is attached to a 550 year-old former Mill in the rural hamlet of Ponsworthy, 3 miles from the famous Widecombe. Kitchenette, very small shower room, very steep staircase ascending to cosy bedroom with seating area + Sky TV. Outdoor seating area surrounded by trees and the sound of the river. College View. Superb River Views, Rain or Shine.

College View is a modernised stone terraced cottage originally built for rail workers in 1870 with magnificent views across the river to Dartmouth and up the estuary. An ideal base for exploring Devon by car, boat, train and walking. The south west coast path, Dart Marina & steam railway are close by. The patio is perfect for sunny days and sunsets and the loft room is an alternative for those "damp" days. A peaceful quiet spot since 50 steps down from the road with free road parking

Offering immaculate contemporary accommodation, guests can enjoy stunning views from the roof terrace alongside spacious living areas and a coveted parking space. Dartmouth ferry can be accessed in 10 minutes by foot and the pubs and cafes are even closer. The SW Coast Path comes through Kingswear as does the steam train & beaches are only 15 mins drive away. Return to the house to see the sun setting over Dartmouth!

Cabin has a modern heating system and is cosy all year round due to the quality insulation.
