Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Style is rustic with a light twist of retro functionalism. Now we have moved 200m, on the opposite side of the road, and we offer Villa for our quest. Your sincerely Leena & Juha

A small cottage on the shore of Höytiäinen. Electricity is, no mains. We will supply you with drinking water in a canister. Spreadable sofa bed and lavender, small kitchen equipment can be found. Sup boards and kayaks are free to use. Possible to rent a rowing boat, jetski, etc. Plenty of 30 e with lake water, hot tub 30 e. Outdoor. On the beach, a barbecue area and open freely available. Bed linens and towel are included. Also ask for a guided island/fishing tour and equipment.

White-bed cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. An oak is quietly located on a clean water lake. The cottage has a fully equipped and up-to-date kitchen, a booking fireplace, and a barbecue hut in the yard. Your own wood-burning sauna is in the same building. The chalet is self-contained and there is a dock and rowboat on the beach, as well as a canoe. In the winter, it comes with one set of sliding snow shoes and two pairs of regular snowshoes.

We rent a cottage in Rääkkylä on the shore of Orivesi (Samppaanselkä) about 67 km from Joensuu. The year-round cottage (84m2) sleeps 6. Peaceful place. The cottage is well-equipped. The air source heat pump cools in summer and heats in winter. Barbecue hut in the yard. Rowing boat in use. Great road connection. Come and enjoy the cottage life to the beautiful natural landscape, the south shore. Check-in time at 3pm and departure time at 12pm.
