Our charming guesthouse has everything you need for a relax stay. Located on the countryside, surrounded by grassland and green, at a beautiful road with a tunnel of trees. You can reach the sea and beach of Callantsoog within 10 minutes. The closest small town with supermarket, bakery and restaurant is only 5 min. away. Visit Schagen with bars and restaurants, shopping and different kind of events in less than 10 minutes. Cheese-city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away, and Amsterdam 1 hour.

On one of the most beautiful roads of the north head, the boment tunnel. With space around the house where you can relax and where your pet can possibly walk loose together with the 2 dogs that also run loose in the yard. Perfect location to discover the area from here, within cycling distance of the beach and Schagen with its cozy terraces.

Amsterdam can also be reached within 1 hour. If you want to leave the car, we have bicycles that can be used.

The Polar Bear House is a fun and child-friendly cottage, located at the bottom of the IJsdijk. Cross the Waddenzeedijk and you are in the lively port of Oudeschild. Here you can eat a fish, take a trip on a shrimp cutter and sail to sandbanks where seals live. The nice museum Kaap Skil is also within walking distance, as well as a supermarket and restaurants.
