Strand, havens, winkels etc. bereikbaar binnen 5 minuten met de auto en lopend 25 minuten.

Hello, we are Sylvia and Marc. Our attractively furnished apartment is located on the water in the picturesque village of Kolhorn. From the terrace you can fully enjoy the sun and look out over the water and the old region. From Kolhorn you can reach the sea and the beach in 15 minutes. The town of Schagen is nearby, where you can visit the West Frisian market every Thursday. Various walking and cycling tours also start from Kolhorn. You can store your bicycles safely and dry in our shed.

Anytime a different spectacular view of the mudflats from our retro furnished cabin, the hammock on the porch, or lounger in the garden. The Amstelmeer (swimming and surfing) is a 10-minute walk, the North Sea beach (Den Helder, Callantsoog) is 20 km away. The boat to Texel 15 km. Picturesque towns like Hoorn, Enkhuizen or Schagen are within 30 minutes by car.

The Polar Bear House is a cozy and child-friendly cottage, located at the bottom of the IJsdijk. Cross the Waddenzeedijk and you are in the lively port of Oudeschild. Here you can eat a fish, take a trip on a shrimp cutter and sail to sandbanks where seals live. The nice museum Cape Skil is also within walking distance, as well as a supermarket and restaurants. Birds can get their heart's content from the Vogelboulevard.
