Guest house in the North Frisian countryside

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the park of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood-burning stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has its own private garden all around, its own front door and lots of privacy.

Probably the best IJsselmeer view in Friesland!

Unique views from your apartment and terraces. The large terraces on three sides of the house are all yours, so you can always find a space in the sun or in the shade. The west side has an amazing view of the IJsselmeer, the other sides have excellent views too. Two small beaches at walking distance. Free Wifi. Arrival and departure are on Friday. For November till end of March, you can contact us for shorter periods, different arrival or departure days, and a 30% monthly discount.

Op 1 minuut loopafstand bevindt zich de hoofdstraat met zijn vele leuke winkeltjes en gezellige terrasjes. Ook de bekende supermarkten zijn op steenworp afstand te vinden. The Boothuis is immediately on open water and is new 2022 modernly furnished for a pleasant stay and equipped with all facilities. Here you can walk and cycle along the water or through the woods. Atmospheric, freely standing, private garden and terrace. Located on the edge of Wolvega, 800 meters from the highway and 500 meters from downtown and public transport. The stay is in the back of the yard and was built in 2023. You have your own private property with a half free and village view. In the nearby area you will find a swimming lake and various nature reserves where you can enjoy cycling and hiking. The accommodation is smoke and pet free.

You have access to a large terrace, three bedrooms, sauna with plunge pool, foot baths, two showers and two sinks, separate toilet, kitchen and living room and private sports and play area (of 80 m2). The apartment is 10-15 minutes from Dokkum, the Wadden Sea, departure places to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog and the Lauwersmeer National Park.

In the middle of the authentic village of Schiermonnikoog, you go back in time. You have your own terrace and entrance on the fronts of our house. We enter through the back entrance. The apartment has a double box spring and a single bed. All equipped with lovely goose down duvets. With a private entrance, toilet and bathroom, you can enjoy all the privacy. The combination of the beautiful old details of the farm, with a hip styling, makes a very cozy apartment. ARUM. Close to Harlingen, Franeker and Bolsward. A nice Frisian village, 10 minutes drive from the ferry to Terschelling and Vlieland.
