We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. this railway was established in 1899 and abolished in 1945. This railway is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for max. 6 pers. There is free parking, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

Gasselte is known for its many mountain bike routes. You look out from the terrace over the farms and in the summer the sheep walk with their lambs in the meadow. There is also a lovely dog Sjors, who you may also encounter. In the spring, a small café is open on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.

This cottage has been lovingly built from reused materials. You have a private place with outdoor area on a 4 acre nature playground. On the premises is a swimming lake, survival lanes, sports field but also a lot of nature with many birds, squirrels, hedgehogs and much more. We are a wonderful place to vacation and where your children can play safely and casual outside. The grounds are car-free. In the cottage you will find a toilet, shower is within walking distance.
