The B&B is an apartment with its own entrance, private shower/toilet area, and is within cycling distance of the station in Veendam, from where the train to the beautiful city of Groningen departs. There is also a lot to see in the province itself. After a busy day, however, you will always return to the tranquility and space of B&B HoutStee. You can relax under the veranda, enjoy bird sounds. Possibly in good weather the BBQ on. Everything is there for this. You also have 2 bicycles at your disposal.

Minimum two nights. (AIR CONDITIONING). Nice wheelchair friendly B & B in Drenthe, in the middle of the quiet Uffelte. Holtingerzand, Rheebruggen estate, Dwingelerveld are within cycling distance. Places such as Diever, Giethoorn, Dwingeloo, Staphorst and Meppel are also worth a visit. Of course, you will be spoiled every morning with a delicious breakfast. A nice, cozy little house on the edge of the old center. Fully furnished, comfortable and fully equipped. Can be booked for a short or longer stay. On the first day, a partly organic, self-service breakfast will be ready for you. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23.
