Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Relax at this peaceful, private suite with a hot tub. Over 800 sq. ft. of living area including 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, full bath including large shower with jets. In April 2023 we added a kitchenette with sink, fridge microwave, toaster. We don’t have a stove inside, but you have access to an outdoor gas grill. Property backs onto the Buffalo River so you can enjoy a walk along the river’s edge. Also included is the use of the fire pit, patio furniture and hot tub weather permitting.

This spot is perfect for couples or solo adventurers! A unique suite is attached to an elegant vintage peg barn. Space for bringing horses, snowmobiles or ATV's since we have trails. This is a quaint little cabin on the Flambeau River just outside of Ladysmith, WI (flambeau translastes to flaming torch) It is a clean space with rustic charm. It has a fully equipped kitchen, stove and fridge. A gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room. Snuggle up on the sofa or recliner, turn on the fireplace, and relax. There is one bedroom with a memory foam mattress. A loft with a sleeper couch. Free amenities, including cleaning. No pets and no smoking at any time please.
