We are surrounded by views of the Talkeetna and Chugach mountains, this quiet retreat is a studio apt., with a FULL kitchen and laundry, this retreat is perfect for refreshing yourself in Alaska. Gooding Lake has a sandy beach and float plane access. The canoe & kayakes are free to use. Centrally located north of the Trunk Rd between Palmer and Wasilla, and close to Hatcher Pass, Matanuska Glacier. Guests must walk up a full flight of steps. Happy Trails!

Our pet friendly (we love critters and know how hard it can be to find rentals with fur-family members) is centrally located on 1 acre in a peaceful neighborhood near the Trunk/Palmer-Fishhook roads. Within a 10 min drive you can enjoy year-round recreation at Hatcher's Pass (including Skeetawk Ski Hill, Government Peak Recreation Area), the Matsu Regional Hospital, as well as quaint and yummy farmer markets, local breweries and shops, and other societal comforts!

Quaint stay in heart of Wasilla

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Bent Prop efficiency

This is an efficiency unit in a 4plex, queen size bed, 12 foot ceiling, shower stall, internet, desk and chair, coffee center, not a kitchen, small fridge and microwave . It is on the ground level. We are close to town, 30 minutes from Hatchers pass, lots of hiking, golf 5 minutes away, local breweries. We work hard to give a safe clean environment to stay so please no smoking or pets. (At this time late check out or early check in is not available sorry for any inconvenience

Blue Ice Aviation Lounge

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge was completed in 2017 and is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We are 10 minutes from the bottom of Hatcher Pass on a quiet little airstrip AK93. True Alaskan rustic feel

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Trail thru the woods leading to a bluff where you can sometimes see moose and watch the train go by with the Talkeetna mountains in the background. The bedroom has 2 twin XL beds (memory foam mattress), which we can join together with a topper to create a king bed if you prefer. The sofa folds out into a queen bed as well. The kitchen is fully furnished as well as a full bathroom with shower.
