The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 with kitchenette and couch and 1 with toilet and shower....Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Rural retreat

Private studio with spectacular views. Hosts house on same property so readily available, self catering but meals available by arrangement. A place to relax and get away from it all, nearby Nikau Caves and Cafe, Port Waikato surf beach and Harkers Resrve for Bush Walks ,We now have aircon and wifi. We do have a couple of dogs who like to greet guests in the morning with a bark but it doesn’t go on for long and not every morning
