I’m sure many of you will be in need of a break away so …. if you are seeking a quiet and private space for your visit to beautiful Mount Maunganui then the recently renovated Beachside Retreat offers just that and more. The studio is perfect for quiet couples, solo travellers and business people. Safe and secure, the studio is bathed in morning and late afternoon sun so is cosy and warm. Heat pump for your comfort whatever the season. Beautiful Mount beach is just across the road. Beach gear available on request. Perfectly positioned to walk into town or stop along the way at some top cafes and restaurants. Back to the studio and you transition from the large deck through sliding glass doors to an interior that's designed for total relaxation. Refresh in a sparkling white bathroom and soak in a designer bathtub before bedtime. Kitchenette for tea and coffee making, microwave and small bar fridge. No cooktop. For your arrival there is a selection of NZ tea’s, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, milk and juice in the studio. On-site parking available for one car. Big screen smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual free to air streaming. Fast high speed unlimited WIFI. A five minute walk to Central Parade shops, Fife Lane Restaurant, Tay Street Cafe and Store, Bay Oval and Blake Park. Also a handy five minute drive to Bayfair and Baypark. Enhanced cleaning and sanitising between guests as per Air BnB guidelines. Parking available on site. We (Shirley & Jim) live upstairs with our small dog Louie. We are around if you need a hand, would like some breakfast, dinner or tourist tips. Otherwise, we will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The studio is on Marine Parade, directly opposite Mount Maunganui Beach. Blake Park, Bay Oval, and various shops and great cafes at Central Parade are about a 5-minute walk. It's a quick drive to the Mount, airport, Bayfair Shopping Centre and Trust Power Baypark. Just an hour drive will have you to Whakatane, Rotorua and Hobbiton. Check in and check out times may be adjusted to suit your travel arrangements on request. Luggage drop/storage also available on request.

A simply furnished, private holiday cabin with lock box access has everything you need for a short break, adjacent to Papamoa Beach, close to Shops, Cafes and the Surf Club, is within reach of Baypark, Bayfair and the Mount. The Beach Hut is a double room with en-suite bathroom and comfy queen bed. High ceiling with open loft storage and ceiling fan, a tiny kitchenette, table/workspace and patio garden. Off street parking and good bus links. Enjoyable for single or couples travelling, work base.

Argyll Reserve Studio

We welcome you to stay in our self contained studio, positioned on the ground floor of our home. The 1x bedroom studio features kitchen, bathroom, living space with aircon, an outdoor courtyard & roadside parking. It has its own private access, seperate from the main house entrance. If you’re concerned with noise, this perhaps isn’t the place for you as our living room is directly above the studio. We have a young family & 2 dogs who can be noisy at times. Generally from 8pm to 7am it’s quiet.

Private suite on the shores of the Waikareao Estuary. Our home is situated on the popular Daisy Hardwick Cycle/Walkway. Easy walking distance to a Supermarket, several cafes & restaurants, and only 5 mins walk to a lovely swimming beach. All rooms are filled with morning sun and overlook the Estuary. Breakfast is not provided. The guest suite is separated from the home by a locked door. We have a free guest car park. Your hosts Nola & Barry have traveled extensively &. enjoy meeting new people.

Modern Hide-away

Recently renovated guest suite with fresh, bright, modern decor, own bathroom, separate entrance, parking and lovely hosts. There is a queen bed and a sofa-bed (size of a 'double' bed). Coffee and tea making is available, as well as a small fridge/microwave (not a full kitchen). We also have high-speed WiFi with Netflix/Disney+/Prime video. We're in a nice, quiet, safe neighbourhood on a back section with parking available. Section isn't fenced so if you bring a dog just be aware of that :)

A place to stay in the central mount area

You will love the location. 2 minutes stroll to the restaurants, retail stores and Tauranga Harbour where you can watch the cruise ships come and go. The beautiful Mount Surf beach and walking tracks up and around Mount Maunganui are within easy walking distance along with the many other attractions the Mount has to offer. The room is spacious you have your own bathroom and small kitchen. The laundry is part of the kitchen we share the use of the laundry and clothes line area.

Lovely self-contained studio, with private entrance and carpark, on the ground floor of my home. Inside you’ll find a light-filled & spacious studio with a small kitchenette and everything you need for a short stay. Outside is your private courtyard with BBQ, outdoor seating, and an outdoor shower. Fantastic location - down a quiet cul-de-sac and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The many shops, cafes, bars & restaurants of central Mt Maunganui are <5mins walk away.

Enjoy our attractive, quiet neighbourhood and easy access to Tauranga CBD 10 minutes walk away. Walking distance to Waikato University CBD Campus, restaurants, cafés, fast food, bakery, Pharmacy and Medical centre. Saturday Farmers Market and Bus routes at top of road. Suitable singles, couples and business. Hosts are fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and require guests to be similarity vaccinated as a condition of any booking. Modern Beach Studio with own separate ranchslider entrance; integral double garage separates Studio from main house. There is another door in the Studio that you can keep locked but enables you to access garage if you wish to store anything. Studio has high ceilings, double glazing, heat/air con pump. 200 metres to beach, 1.2 km to Fashion Island & Papamoa Plaza, easy 15-20 min walk via reserve with walking/cycling tracks. Approx 6 kms to Bayfair shopping. Quiet location.

Semi self-contained & central beach haven

Superbly located on Te Ngaio Rd in the heart of Mount Maunganui, this semi self-contained (no kitchen) accommodation is just 250 metres from the beach and a gentle 5 minute stroll to cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. There are two rooms. One generously large room has a queen bed and single bed. The other room is essentially a lounge with a sofa bed. Both rooms open out to a beautiful landscaped backyard that is shared with us and our 2 kids.

Ocean Beach, Pilot Bay, Mount Main Street shops, bars and restaurants all five minutes walk max. Local bus and Inter-City bus 500m away. Completely self-contained and looks out to a quiet park. Queen bed and fold out sofa bed. Handy to golf course, hot pools, walks and fishing. Bay Oval/Blake Park 20 minutes walk. Suited to a couple or single persons, with a sofa bed suited to a young child.
