Gum Tree Studio - The perfect country retreat!

With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

The Gardener’s Greenhouse is a peaceful studio on 2 hectares of land overlooking a garden, wetlands and cycle trail beyond. It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. You will need a car to get around. No cleaning fees. Our place is very close to Abel Tasman National Park. Incredible views, Best beaches in NZ. Mountain bike tracks and road trails. Cafes and wineries, Huge Super king bed , Queen bed and two single beds for children or other guests. All with lovely linen all made up. Incredible views , free wifi , huge pool ,hottubs and sauna. Huge Oled smart 65 inch TV. Very modern kitchen with all the best appliances. Big front loading washing machine and drier. BBQ. Free fast fibre wifi.

Harakeke Hill, near Motueka

Modern off-grid accommodation. Our power comes from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. Two bedrooms: each with a king bed which can be split into two singles. *Please state which bed arrangement you will be needing* EV or PLUG IN HYBRIDS: it is not possible to charge these vehicles overnight.

Romantic Getaway. The Caboose is a handcrafted replica of an old train carriage, with a small private garden for you to enjoy. Set on a half acre property next to our historic farmhouse, centrally located at the outskirts of Motupipi, at the eastern side of Golden Bay, only 5 minutes drive from the beach and 5 minutes from Takaka township. The outdoor shower, bath and toilet are all in the private garden that can be accessed with stairs from the side of the balcony of The Caboose.
