Fort Moultrie

Step back from the present day and experience the history of this restored naval outpost run by the National Park Service, from World War II to its humble origins as a log fort in the 18th century. Hunley Submarine

Take a tour of the historic H.L. Hunley submarine, which sailed the seas in 1864 before disappearing for more than a century until the National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA) found the ship in 1995, making it a truly one-of-a-kind exhibit.
