This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. THE STRAND

The house has a magnificent location right at the North Atlantic Ocean, view to the endless horizon and shifting colors of sea and sky. Facing the lighthouse and wild mountains. 5 minutes walk to Whalesafari, Sea Safari etc. It is a fisher family home (1946), fully equipped and renovated. Some furniture from past are kept, such as cabinets made by my father. Huge garden and deck. Perfect for walks along the stretching white sandy beach. Suitable for single travellers, couples and families.

Great mountain hikes straight from the yard, beautiful bathing water nearby and nice safe bike paths in the area. Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. Depending on the season and weather you can see eagles and other birds fly by, or just enjoy the stunning aurora. My place is close to great views, the beach, art and culture, and restaurants and eating places. You'll love my place because in the middle of the region Vesterålen, Lofoten and Harstad,, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

Great scenery, climbing possibilities and hiking terrain. Large terraces, barbecue area and private beach. The fjord is also known for salmon fishing. 20 km. to Stetind, Norways national mountain. There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.

Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.
