Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Our chalet is located on the edge of the lively dune village of De Koog. A chalet is a modern "mobile home", not a cottage. There is room for up to 4 people. A small but complete holiday home. The chalet has its own parking space and garden. Next to our own house. The bus stops nearby and facilities are within walking distance. Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our home is a small but very nice home. From the jetty you get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and equipped with all comforts. You can stay well with 4 people on the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now available as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 15: 00 and check-out until 12: 00.
