Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

A fabulous cottage on the edge of the Lake District sleeping up to four. Original features with log burner, oak beams, deep bath, comfy beds. Two bedrooms, king size and twin/super king, the twins can be 'zip and linked' together to form super king. Quiet village location with pub. Beautiful lakes and mountains nearby with many an adventure to be had. Cockermouth market town is 4 miles away, with supermarkets, good independent shops, restaurants and cafes.
