It is a perfect location for exploring the north west and is surrounded with beautiful beaches which are only minutes away. Sligo town is a short 15km drive. Lissadell house and gardens is 1.5 km and Yeat's grave is 8 km. The local shop and pub is just 500 yards up the road. The local village Grange is a 7km drive with pubs, restaurant, supermarket,petrol station,post office,chemist,cafe and kids playground.
