The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Our 45 m² holiday apartment country air on our Aussiedlerhof Hof Hermannslust, on the Swabian Alb, is in an idyllic secluded location surrounded by forest and meadows and can accommodate up to 4 guests (possibly an additional 1 child in the travel cot). Our apartment is the ideal place for rest and relaxation, but also for families and as a starting point for excursions. Dairy cows and their offspring, chickens, horses, cats, dogs, goats, sheep and rabbits live on our Bioland farm.

Our accommodation is a large, well equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a reading corner, a modern bathroom and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have a great view of the Altshausen castle. The location is central (div. Shops, bakeries and restaurants in 5 min walking distance) and yet quiet location. You are welcome to use the garden. A beautiful swimming lake can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.

Former economics building of the Försterei, converted in 2006, very quietly located in the middle of nature, looking further over the fields and meadows. The Adelindis-Therme can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, and other spas within about 25 km. The summer cottage is not suitable for children under 4 years and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.
