It is located in the heart of Guysborough about a 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk from amenities like grocery, gas, liquor store, pharmacy and a recreational complex offering year round recreational opportunities from outdoor skating in the winter to outdoor swimming in the summer. This cozy cottage is well equipped with all of the items needed for a great stay away from home. It includes all pots, pans, utensils, silverware, wine glasses and other stemware, kettle, toaster, coffee grinder, traditional coffee maker, Keurig, towels, linens, shampoo & conditioner; high speed internet, smart tv and satellite. The Shoreline Landing is the perfect place to relax and escape for a weekend away to cook your favourite recipe (with a view), read in the sunroom, relax on one of two decks, or to do some outdoor exploring in an unknown place. This is a private, large, bright, air conditioned and fully equipped apartment. Pets are welcomed. There are two patios that guests can use with a bbq. The apartment has a view and access to one of the 5 beaches that the community of Port Hood boasts. From our location it is a 5-10 minutes walk to the local Bistro and 15 minute walk into the village. The surrounding area includes restaurants, golf courses, hiking trails, and many musical events especially during the summer and fall seasons.

Melinda's mountain retreat, dog & family friendly.

Melinda moved to Cape Breton in 1974 from Tennessee. She married a local, opened a small hair salon, and raised a big garden and four children. Up until suffering a major stroke in 2021, she was an avid swimmer and cross country skier. But, most of all she loved connecting with all kinds of different people, young and old. Although severely limited from the stroke, she still enjoys meeting people and seeing family and friends.
