Spacious and Modern Urban Retreat in Philly Art Museum Area

This airy and spacious 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment blends historic charm with modern day amenities and decor on the 2nd & 3rd floors of a classic Philly-style row home. It features hardwood floors throughout, exposed brick walls, a well-equipped kitchen, a large living area with comfortable furniture, washer/dryer, and keypad entry. This huge, nearly 2,000 square foot apartment is ideal for groups of 5-12 people. When requesting to book: please let us know why you're in town and your expected arrival/check-in time. This spacious bi-level apartment is on the second and third floors of a classic Philly-style rowhome. The apartment was just renovated, blending historic charm with modern day amenities and decor. The apartment features hardwood floors, exposed brick, well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, cable tv, wifi, keyless entry, and essentials included. The living area is large, sunny, and comfortable with a smart tv (with cable, HBO & Apple TV) cozy furniture, a dining area with seats for 6 (leaf inside to extend table with additional chairs in closet), and a beautiful kitchen that is fully stocked for cooking, making coffee, or enjoying local food delivery. In the rear of the main floor is one of the common bathrooms with a shower/tub, and a huge bedroom with a queen bed and decorative fireplace. Fresh towels and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), clean sheets, and pillows are provided for all bedrooms and bathrooms. The upper floor has the additional 4 bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower/tub. Three bedrooms are furnished each with a queen size bed and one bedroom is furnished with a pair of twin/single size beds. All bedrooms have a large closet, dresser, and ceiling fans. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer located on the main floor (detergent is provided). There is a strong and fast wifi signal throughout the house, with central air conditioning and central heat. We're always available to answer any questions you may have, but we like to give our guests space because you're here to visit Philadelphia, not to talk to us! Francisville is a very diverse, multi-cultural, urban neighborhood in the Art Museum area. It's home to families, young professionals, college students, and retired lifelong residents. Francisville is close to Center City Philadelphia, the Philadelphia International Airport, 30th Street Amtrak train station, bus/subway lines, and lots of historic attractions, cultural museums, great shopping, and delicious restaurants! There is free on-street parking throughout most of the neighborhood. On foot is one of the best ways to explore Philadelphia, but if you want walking alternatives, then the bus, subway, bike share, Uber/Lyft, or driving is also easy. Free on-street parking available in the surrounding blocks. Parking is more difficult to find in the evenings. We are close to I-95, I-76, I-676, and the Philadelphia International Airport (20 min via car). We are just a 15 min/1 mile walk to the Ben Franklin Parkway for marathons, races, museums, and events, and 20 min/1.3 mile walk to the PA Convention Center. There's easy public transit on SEPTA: the 13 trolley stop on the corner will take you to Northern Liberties, Fishtown, Port Richmond, and Kensington (15 mins) or the Philadelphia Zoo (12 min); the 33 bus stop on the corner will take you to Center City (15 mins), Old City and its many historic attractions (20-25 mins) and Penn's Landing; and the Broad Street subway (10 minute/0.5 mile walk to the Girard Station) to take you to Temple University (5 mins) or the sports stadiums area (25 mins). Also located just steps from an Indego station, Philly's bike share system. Respect the neighbors. This home is located in a residential neighborhood and must abide by city noise regulations (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM quiet hours). Parties are NOT allowed. Excessive noise, yelling, loud music, etc. will not be tolerated. Early check in/late check out can be accommodated. If you wish to extend your stay, please inquire about the additional cost. Please note if you have more than 10 guests, we will set up a queen sized air mattress for the 11th and 12th guests. Any bookings for less than 10 guests will not have the air mattress unless requested in advance and may be subject to an additional charge.

Charming Historic Home in Rittenhouse with Free Parking

Free Parking!! Starting from 1st January 2023, we will offer free parking. The host will be sending Information to the guest before the Check-Inn date. Chill in the courtyard of a 3-story haven filled with historical architecture and modern flair. Original features include hand-laid flooring, an original claw-foot tub sitting alongside African plates, and a chalkboard door for creative interludes. The four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms make this the perfect homebase for families & groups. Besides the open layout & high ceilings, the original claw-foot bathtub and furnished outdoor patio space are two other luxuries. The newly renovated granite top kitchen can handle any culinary plans you may have in mind including an entire dining area. The well-maintained wooden swirl steps from the 1800’s & exposed brick sprinkled on the top floor floods the space with character. The owner or a representative is always available in case of an emergency, and only a phone call away. Rittenhouse is one of the oldest, most prestigious areas in Philadelphia. Originally named Southwest Square, Rittenhouse Square was renamed after a famous Philadelphian astronomer and hosted some of the city’s most popular happenings all year round. One minute walk to the famous Rittenhouse park, local shops and restaurants. Few minutes walking to public transportation.
