Welcome to The Cabin at Trout Creek, a newly constructed cabin built in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Designed to compliment the beauty of the creation that surrounds it, the cabin offers its guests peace and seclusion, yet easy access to nearly endless opportunities for outdoor activity. Whether you are interested in a small group retreat, a scrapbooking getaway, time away with some friends, or a family vacation, you will find that great care has been taken to create a place of comfort, relaxation, and an atmosphere that allows you to connect--with family and friends, with God and His creation. Situated on 3 1/2 wooded acres with over a million acres of San Isabel National Forest out the front door, the 3000 square foot cabin will comfortably accommodate a group up to 11. The cabin is easily accessed from Denver (2 hours) and Colorado Springs (1 1/2 hours) and is only 20 minutes away from the recreational town of Buena Vista. Whether you want to stay tucked in or be outdoors, the cabin has everything you could need or want. The house itself has wi-fi, a computer, a 42" HD TV, a Blu-Ray Disc player (with over 100 DVD's to choose from), a Bose sound system, board games, an 800 ft2 deck (that overlooks San Isabel National Forest), 3 different sitting areas, and mountain views in every direction. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and the many activities the area has to offer, you will find that there is more to do than what you have time for! We have bikes at the cabin if you want to explore nearby, with trails to San Isabel right out the door. Within 20 minutes of the cabin, you will world class white water rafting and fly fishing, mountain biking, jeep tours, horseback riding, hot springs, ATV rentals, hot air balloon rides, zip lines, ghost towns, endless hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hay rides and sleigh rides. Several ski areas are within a 45 minute drive. Beauty, rest, refreshment. That is what you will find at The Cabin at Trout Creek.

Historic Weston Pass Getaway

2 night minimum stay required. 1 bedroom 1 bath with a fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom includes a queen size bed and 1 full size futon in the main living area. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Propane fireplace adds a warm touch! WIFI and Dish network are available on site. Guests are welcome to walk the property and enjoy the wildlife or the peacefulness of the mountain views from the back deck equipped with barbecue. Seasonal stream with deck provides a quite space to relax . We live in the main house on the property. Once the quest is settled we are available for additional questions but really it is your vacation and your private time! We are pet friendly but require a pet fee of $50.00. We live on the Historic Weston Pass Road (CR22) and are located at Historic Marker 4. Park County maintains access in and out of our area. Properties around us are all 35 acres or more so there is a secluded/retreat feeling but we are 15 minutes from Fairplay and 35 minutes to Breckenridge We have ample parking for trailers and RVs. A four wheel/AWD is not required but helpful in the winter months depending on Mother nature:) We are centrally located for easy travel to Buena Vista, Salida, Alma and Breckenridge. National Forrest land and trails are 2 miles from our location. Our full time neighbors are Elk, Moose, Bear and Bobcats!

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is just one block south of Main Street and a few blocks west of the Arkansas River. The bungalow has just the basics for those looking to unplug for a bit. This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Now I love sharing it with others. Rustic and affordable- for those who don't need fancy, but like being close to town

Secluded, well-appointed cabin right on Tarryall Creek, with wifi, more than 5 acres of solitude, and 360-degree mountain views. This is our dream place to escape, unwind, and listen to the creek. It's remote and quiet, but accessible year-round: 2 hours from DIA, 1.5 hours from downtown Denver, and 50-mins from Breckenridge. Large kitchen (w/ fridge and antique stove), barnwood accents, huge 400sf deck, and historic decor from Como's gold rush. Dogs welcome, too.
