This rustic, cute cabin has a queen bed, and a separate private bathroom with an outside hot shower house just next to the cabin. We offer a cosy cabin in Kakanui, on the scenic route from Dunedin to Oamaru. 10mins drive to penguin colony and historic Oamaru. Kakanui has a shop for groceries, alcohol, take-aways and . A restaurant in walking distance, open Wed-Sun. Have a lovely quiet walk to river and along the beach and then back to the tiny house for coffee or tea. The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
