The building was built in traditional Amelander farmhouse style and is spacious. Also great for children, the shared garden has a playground equipment. This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our home is a small but very nice home. From the jetty you get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and equipped with all comforts. You can stay well with 4 people on the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now available as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 15: 00 and check-out until 12: 00.

The Polar Bear House is a fun and child-friendly cottage, located at the bottom of the IJsdijk. Cross the Waddenzeedijk and you are in the lively port of Oudeschild. Here you can eat a fish, take a trip on a shrimp cutter and sail to sandbanks where seals live. The nice museum Kaap Skil is also within walking distance, as well as a supermarket and restaurants.
