Gail & I came out of retirement to renovate this unique home with a completely new kitchen, vinyl plank flooring, new deck & new well in the Fall of 2019. This 3 bedroom lakehouse is very secluded within about an hour drive from Lynchburg, Roanoke or Danville. The shared dock and boat ramp are especially convenient. Keep an eye out for eagles, osprey, deer, turkeys, otters, geese & herons. You could watch eagles & osprey fishing in the lake from the upper deck, the lower deck or the dock.

"The Shepherdess Cottage" is a sweet place to visit. It has view of Cahas Mountain in Franklin County, Virginia. This cottage has 2 bedrooms and a bath. A very large kitchen open to great room. The house used to be a one room school house in early 1900's. It sits on one acre of land and has a rural surrounding. When we purchased it, it was completely gutted with all new construction as of 2018.
