We'll try an expecial and typical mango ice cream with salt and lemon wich one is including in the tour, and inside my Grandmother's home I will explain you everything about the painful past of la Comuna 13, and our personal histories like locals of la Comuna 13 as well. Then we will take the escalators that leads to the top of the mountain, and I will show you an amazing viewpoint to see all Medellin City, (here we will try more local food). Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. After we will go back to the meeting point to do the end of the tour.

The idea of this experience is to connect with Pacha Mama (nature), enter where pumas, tigrillos, opossums, orchids and birds live, especially the cacique candle and many more species that live in this natural reserve, just 40 minutes from the city of Medellín. The time and starting point is at 9:00 am in Yolo Hostel located in Provenza Crr # 7A- 77 we will go by private vehicle to the Arenales that is the starting point of the ecological hike, we will be back at Yolo Hostel, at approximately 3:00 pm. Visitaremos una Fábrica de Tequila Artesanal. Where we will know the process of making the drink and tryimos of its white Tequila, Reposado y Añejo. Also Visit Mundo Cuervo. In the historic center of Tequila Jalisco, you will know its emblematic places such as the Santiago Apostol parish, the Plaza Principal, the giant letters and the most famous factory shops of tequila. We will have 2 hours of free time so they can eat and continue tasting tequilas. From there we go to the swing and lookout of agaves. In the fields of agave you can take that beautiful photo of the memory and get to know more about the Agave Azul Tequilana Weber plant. We continue our tour to the famous Cantaritos del Guero in Amatitan Jalisco, another very beautiful village in our state. This tour includes transportation from Guadalajara and entrances to all the places you see in the photos. The appointment is on Av. Chapultepec, is a very nice area to stay and enjoy the city. We will be back no later than 7pm at the same point where we left in the morning, as are all Expertos en Tequila! We will begin at the red barn where you will learn about this 12 acre sanctuary and the stories behind the 100+ rescue farm animals living on it. From there we will explore three different pastures that include horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and a goose. While you are here we are thrilled to guide you through an up-close experience with all of these amazing creatures while they roam freely. Many of these animals will walk right up to you to take a snack from your hand or allow you take a close-up photo with them! Upon arrival you will take a tour of the sanctuary, I will explain the daily routine and you will meet the animals and learn about their care and how they came to reside here. You will learn about their lives in factory farms and other trends that have caused them to end up in sanctuaries. You will then have the opportunity to interact with them one on one. We will sail on canoe through the most conserved channels of Xochimilco wetland. During the tour, we will tell you about the history of the place and its importance to the sustainability of Mexico City. In your way, you will recognize the biological richness like birds, snakes, frogs and plants. We will arrive at a chinampa where you can get your hands dirty experiencing the ancestral technique of cultivation and discovering why it is considered a world heritage. Also, you will get involve in the diary activities in the chinampa like crop irrigation, harvest or seeding. Before going back to land, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peace of the place. This is a cultural tour that helps to promote the community development.

What you'll do The first step will be to show you the ingredients that you can find in all Oaxacan homes, one of the advantages of our experience is that we have a garden with herbs and organic chilis. Baldo my son will share his knowledge in mezcal. We have an extend variety of agaves and homemade creations that you need to try. An open bar of mezcal is waiting for you. Snacks? Of course but you need to do Oaxacan style which includes worms, chicatanas and chapulines. Fist course we will offer chileajo tostadas and fruit water. Have you heard anything about the metate and how tortillas are made by hand? Here we will show you how to make tortillas, tetelas and memelitas. One of my specialties is salsas made in a molcajete, we will roast the ingredients over charcoal and comal. In every class we make 4 to 6 salsas depending seasonal ingredients. The mole is the emblem of our cuisine and we will make one of the 7 moles from scratch using a metate, you can’t leave our home without tasting our mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves and a delicious cake. Everyone will participate in the different processes, cutting ingredients from the garden, making sauces and of course eating. Remember, when you visit a house in Oaxaca you have to come with an empty stomach. Other things to note The class is available in English too. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE

During this experience, you will learn to cook the famous "tacos al pastor" with my dad, a professional instructor and culinary artist, who will share his tips and recipes with you. We'll meet at the local market to buy ingredients and learn more about Mexican spices and food. Then we'll return to my family home, where you will learn how to marinate the meat for the tacos. You will prepare red salsa, green salsa, and guacamole, and make your own tortillas on the traditional Mexican "Comal"—a smooth, flat griddle. At the end, we'll put everything together to make the tacos, sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Mexican gastronomy. Live a true El Yunque rainforest experience with a local. Excellent for foodies and adventure fans. We visit 2 waterfalls and the famous waterslide. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED. Visitaremos una Fábrica de Tequila Artesanal. Where we will know the process of making the drink and tryimos of its white Tequila, Reposado y Añejo. Also Visit Mundo Cuervo. In the historic center of Tequila Jalisco, you will know its emblematic places such as the Santiago Apostol parish, the Plaza Principal, the giant letters and the most famous factory shops of tequila. We will have 2 hours of free time so they can eat and continue tasting tequilas. From there we go to the swing and lookout of agaves. In the fields of agave you can take that beautiful photo of the memory and get to know more about the Agave Azul Tequilana Weber plant. We continue our tour to the famous Cantaritos del Guero in Amatitan Jalisco, another very beautiful village in our state.
