The Studio-Pfauen is located on the main street, 5 min. from the center and 10 min. from the train station. It is furnished for 2 pers. and is located on the 3rd floor with private entrance. Suitable for bicycles and/or Töff drivers as our workshop is located on the ground floor. If you book 3 nights or longer with us, you will receive the Appenzell holiday card with 25 attractive free offers, as well as travel to and from Switzerland by public transport. Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The vacation rental is below the village of Amden. The farmer's family also lives in the same house. For the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (garbage). However, we make an effort, and take this into account as much as possible. We have cats, dog and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book along, cost CHF 30.

Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the New Year's Eve Lusade, in Urnäsch, an old house with separate entrance, a nice seat, directly on the Urnäsch (creek) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the maisonette apartment has been renovated during the 70s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know in the other part of the house (own entrance) my parents live, but this is not affecting.

Idyllic Appenzell Vacation Home with Garden

Our Hüsli is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fire pit and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the alpine feeling can be enjoyed particularly well from the bench on the front courtyard. Inside it is nice and cozy, with tiled stove and wood stove, cozy living room and spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)

Lovely flat. Bright and quiet. Ideal for 2 to 3.

Large apartment (74 m2) on the outskirts of Appenzell. Maximum 3 persons. Minimum stay 2 nights. Own parking space. Own entrance. Private balcony. 10 minutes' walk from the train station. 12-minute walk to the village. 15 minutes by car or train to the mountains. 2 bikes (size M) incl. Child seat and helmets are provided free of charge, as well as strollers, hiking poles, backpacks, snowshoes and sledges (see photos). We've hosted since May 2022.

From the sunny seat you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). There is a grill bowl there. This apartment was renovated in summer 2019. It is a cozy apartment for 2 - 4 people. It is well connected to public transport. The nearest ski area can be reached in just 13 minutes by PostBus. Beautiful walks can be made from the front door. From a booking of one night you will receive the Toggenburg guest card with which you can benefit from many discounts. Free public transport is available in Obertoggenburg.
