The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Enjoy complete privacy and uninterrupted views of the Paardeberg mountain range and some of South Africa’s finest stargazing under the dark Cederberg night sky. The cottage is situated along our seasonal river which runs from May-Dec. Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.

This unique and charming chalet is self Cathering equipped, have a lounge lounge area, braii , terrace and parking ideal lovers. The Cheetah you see here is called Iziba, during your stay you have a high chance to meet her. Not that we are not supporting animal exploitation and our cheetah is not part of any “package” or oblige in any ways to meet our visitors .
