17th century's apartment right next to Roman Forums.

A few steps from the Roman Forums and Colosseum, in the heart of Rome's oldest neighborhood you will be staying under the original low wooden beams and between the ancient brick walls(XVII cent). You don't need any metro or bus, from here you can visit the city just walking up and relaxing. As an extra point if you are a runner, you'll be staying a few meters away of the start/end line of the Rome's Marathon. The apartment is on a low first floor(5 steps from ground floor) with soundproof windows and aircon. My family and I offer a homely welcome and a strict cleaning and sanitizing protocol. Welcome to our apartment: we are based in the middle of the oldest neighborhood of Rome, the “Rione Monti”, which has maintained alive its popular spirit. Now, as back in the old times, the whole area is a lively labyrinth of shops, craftsmen, restaurants, taverns, bars, trendy clubs, art galleries, antique shops and much more. It is here that Julius Caesar was born in 100 B.C. and that Nero’s Great Fire of Rome took place in 64 A.D.: these narrow streets are the true testimony of Rome’s history… prepare to sleep in the middle of all of this! HomeSweetRome’s apartment is a mezzanine on the first floor, composed of a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa-bed for 2 people and a bathroom with shower. Inside you will find all you need for the best holiday in Rome: air conditioning and independent heating, LCD TV with DVD player, washing/dryer machine, iron and ironing board, tourist guides and maps, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooking plate, fridge, freezer, electric and microwave ovens, water kettle, orange squeezer, bread toaster, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, food processor and much more to allow you to cook your own meals. Nearby, if you wish, you can rent bicycles and scooters. However, the subway is at only 5 minutes walking distance, but more importantly, this apartment is truly in the heart of Rome, from here you can quickly walk to: Roman Forum - 1 min. Colosseum - 5 min. Trevi Fountain - 7 min. Pantheon - 10 min. Piazza Navona - 15 min. Campo de’ Fiori - 15 min. Vatican Museum - 20/30 min. Everything that's in the apartment is available to my guests. I hope you'll feel right at home. Situated in the heart of Rome's oldest still standing neighborhood just in front of the Roman Forums, a few steps from the Colosseum and next to San Pietro in Vincoli, home of the famous Michelangelo's Moses. The neighborhood (Rione Monti) houses some really excellent restaurants as well as a few old artisan's shops and new interesting boutiques. The place also offers a wide choice regarding nightlife (the apartment's soundproof windows will allow you to forget about it) while still being safe.

Stylish apartment near Colosseum

Relive the history of the Eternal City by staying in an ancient 16th-century palace built by a cardinal just steps from the Imperial Forums. The rooms are spacious, cozy, tastefully furnished and many pieces of modernity and design. The flat's warm and casually elegant atmosphere is in a unique location in front of the Imperial Forums and two minutes walk from the Colosseum,it's everything very easy to reach!The flat is composed of two wide rooms, in the living room there are a queen size sofa bed, a 50es dining table and a new fully equipped kitchenette. In the bedroom there is a king size bed with a double wardrobe and an easy writing desk. The bathroom is in the bedroom, so it would be much easier for a couple to share the apartment with a family member than a friend. The apartment is at the second floor without elevator. You will be hosted in a two rooms flat with bathroom and kitchenette. It is always a pleasure for me to meet new people, i'll be reachable by message whenever my guests need infos or help,I will be glad to help them in their wandering around my city. The apartment is located in the heart of the Monti neighborhood, a meeting place for the Romans with its many restaurants, trendy shops and craft shops. The streets and alleys are those of ancient Suburra, where the people of ancient Rome lived. Two subway stops are few minutes steps from the apartment: Cavour and Colosseo. Many buses going in every directions of the city stops in the two closest main streets: Via dei Fori Imperiali and Via Cavour. Via del Colosseo is truly very well connected!!! If you are arriving from Termini Station you will take the subway/metro B direction Laurentina and you will step down to Colosseo stop.
