The outside has a wrap around deck, in ground heated pool and a gated entrance. Located near CT wine trail, Rule of 3's brewery, Airline hiking trail & much more... Each stay includes a gourmet breakfast. The Abner & William rooms share a bathroom on the 3rd floor. The Chauncey & Stanley share a bathroom on the 2nd floor. Philo has a private bathroom.

Luxurious country guest house

Welcome to this peaceful guest house in the country just two hours from NYC or Boston. Cook in, dine out, hike, go to the beaches, watch the sunset on the CT River, sit by the fire pit in the alpaca field or the adirondack chairs in the orchard, go for a bike ride through the hills of Lyme and across the river to Chester via the ferry... Private Upstairs Chef’s Suite at Griswold Cottage

This is a Private suite with private bath. My place is close to the Village Green, it’s shops, restaurants, Chocolatier and bookstore. It’s a half mile to the Guilford beach, 4 miles to the Hammonasett beach in Madison. The house has great light, a cozy relaxing porch, a walking location to the village. You want to take a Picnic lunch with you? talk to me... My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, bicyclists or hiking enthusiasts, anyone who just loves history!

The Yuletide pool and water front

Direct waterfront OWNER OCCUPIED property. Two upstairs bedrooms in a colonial home in a country setting with river views and the third upstairs bedroom has a wooded view. Guests have access to the pool (when in season) and deck areas which overlook the river. 2 full baths, the one upstairs is dedicated to the guests and the one downstairs is shared with owners and guests. Guests may prepare food in the kitchen or use the grill on the deck. TV is only in the living room, not in bedrooms.

This room is named after the homestead's original owner, Sereno H. Scranton. Tucked away in the rear of the home, this a bright and sunny gem of a room with 4 big windows looking out on to the rear gardens. You also have the beautiful view of our giant Norway Spruce which is the tallest tree in Madison. This room offers a full sized bed and a private bathroom with shower.
