Location!!Location!!Location!! Our house has extensive, close stunning lake views,only 8 minutes (7 kms) drive into Taupo town. A car is necessary as we’re NOT in town!Clean, comfortable, private, peaceful 3 bedroom house surrounded by trees & bush and not in busy suburbia. Sleeps 4 unless a request for 5 is made which involves an extra charge. Just across the road from the lake and 2 Bays. New ensuite bathroom and heat pump/air conditioner and new 55” Sony TV. We’ve had many return guests.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes drive from Taupo but still feels like a secret hideaway. It is quiet and private with majestic views of Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapehu - the sunsets are stunning. Perfect for a getaway all year round with outdoor areas and BBQ, large windows and an indoor, double-sided fireplace. We are 5 minutes from the very beautiful Whakaipo Bay, a quiet spot to walk or have a swim. You can also enjoy plenty of bush walks around the area. Hairdryer/toiletries not provided.

We have changed the Winter bookings to a minimum of 2 nights for weekends so if you book Friday you also need to book Saturday, this is only for the Winter months and will change back from beginning of October to minimum of 1 night, apologies for any inconvenience. The entire home and garden are yours to enjoy. If cosy, private, quiet and a 'Home Away From Home' are what you are looking for, this small, 1-bedroom gem is it.
