This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. The gardens, the bird song, the pond, fireflies, starlight in the hot tub, the private sunset trail … Can it get any more magical? It all feels like your very own healing retreat. We were so at ease and felt immense peace the 5 nights we spent here. We both were sad to leave. Ginny was so hospitable and kind. There is not one thing we would’ve changed. It was honestly perfect. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!

Welcome to the 100 acre wood. Actually it’s a 104 acres but we aren’t counting. =) We invite you to our guest suite on the lower level of our home. You will have dedicated parking, your own private entrance, and access to hiking trails. High Speed Fiber optic internet makes connection a breeze, but we hope you won't be doing too much work. Catalina Hot Tub placed perfectly to face the view. This magical hobby farm is perched at 2,951 ft elevation and faces South for warm sun exposure.

Tranquil cozy farm cottage

Hurricane update: We are very fortunate not to have sustained any damage. The pictures give an accurate depiction of the area. We have electricity, water, internet and cell service. Set in a pretty garden, 75 yards from the road, it enjoys access to 50 acres and private walks. Enjoy birdsong and wildlife while relaxing on the deck. The fire pit area is for exclusive use of the cottage. I have another Airbnb called Tranquil private farm home (https://www.airbnb.com/slink/3AfuuYvp).
