The Romance Retreat Our one bedroom, one bathroom guesthouse is on our 2.4 acre property. Our property was featured on Season 5, Episode 3 of HGTV's hit show Fixer Upper. Chip dubbed the property "Radio Ranch" due to the property having a large TV antenna at the time. Unfortunately, Chip and Jo's clients did not choose to renovate the property, but the next owners did. This is in a great family neighborhood. Driving distance to all things Waco! It is centrally located (HEB, Target, and Starbucks are right down the road) and only 10-15 minutes from downtown, the Silos, and Baylor. Once a detached garage, this 400 square foot space is now a cozy, modern living space and is on the property of the main German Schmear (fixer upper) house, which is also a vacation rental.
