The Herb Farm Cottage is a world of it's own in rural Grehan Valley. Here in the country garden stream side setting of the former Herb Farm (New Zealand's first opened in 1976) you will find the original cottage with the ground floor studio/bed sitting room and adjoining parlour. You will feel relaxed and at home with a super comfy queen bed, seating area and well-appointed kitchenette. The studio is a 5 minute drive, or a pleasant 20 minute stroll along the beach road to the centre of Akaroa. The studio also has a bedroom with bunks and will suit couples or families with 1 or 2 small children.
