Beautiful cabin -13 acre wooded hillside along Rockfish River. Home provides a wonderful blend of modern comfort (high speed internet, updated kitchen) in a rustic exposed post and beam cabin; 3 floors of living spaces allow options for gathering, working, playing together but also apart. Sliding glass doors lead to a large wrap around porch with gas grill, dining table, plenty of seating and a tree level view of the natural setting and wildlife. So much to explore on the property and nearby!

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.
