Whether you are here for fishing and fun at nearby Lake McConaughy in the summer, hunting in the fall, a wedding or family reunion or just some time away, this location has what you are looking for. Lewellen is a small town and the locals will help you feel welcome as you check out the local shops, cafes or the seasonal outdoor swimming pool. This is a popular spot for watching wildlife, such as the annual Sandhill crane migration. You can explore Ash Hollow State Park and view the Oregon Trail, or you can wander down the banks of the North Platte River. This quiet town is located 12 miles from the campgrounds and beaches on the west end of Lake McConaughy and 26 miles from the dam and east end campgrounds. Ash Hollow State park is just 5 miles south of town. This home sleeps 6 and is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Pets are welcome for an additional fee. However, there is currently no fenced in area, so pets will need to be on a leash or with you at all times.

The calm, peaceful, rural atmosphere is near the North Platte River, yet close to many attractions and amenities. We have 2 (friendly) free range Lab dogs. Escape to a quiet place at Lewellen Escape. 8 beds accommodating up to 12 people. Two full baths, large living room, large yard with a fire pit. Located on a corner lot on the edge of town to allow more privacy with lots of parking for large vehicles, boats and trailers. Free public swimming pool a block and a half away during the summer. Within walking distance of the Lewellen River bridge, and 10 minutes from Lake McConaughey. Hunters and fishermen welcome!

Very cozy 2 bedroom house with all the amenities of home . The place has a full kitchen, a nice dining room, and a comfortable living room. office desk The place is perfect for an extended stay or for a short hunting trip. Great for a place to stay to spend time at the amazing beaches at Lake Mac as the lake is only 15 minutes away! Also enough room to park a truck with a huge boat or even a semi with a trailer NO CATS ALLOWED DO TO ALLERGIES

This charming home was built in 1892. Recently remodeled with great care taken to preserve the original character. Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Comfortable living room, dining room and full kitchen. One bath featuring a refinished 1920's soaking tub with hand shower. Laundry off kitchen with washer and dryer. Large covered front porch and large backyard. Enjoy a relaxing visit when you stay in this unique place.

4 Bedroom Ogallala. 6 minutes from southern beach!

Bring the whole family to this great escape with lots of room for fun. Enjoy the best of both worlds as this home is located on the far north side of Ogallala, right on your way to the lake! It's only 3 minutes to Safeway and 7 minutes to the lake! The back does not have grass fully established yet, but there is a grill and fire pit.
