The villa is located 4 km from Storsjön's pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently only access to the lake in winter.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Forest close gives possibilities for hiking, biking, picking berries and mushrooms. 31 slopes and 13 lifts, ski resort Romme Alpin has something for all. In the winter, when the lake is covered with ice, it is also possible to take long walks, skate and ski. For cross-country skiing we recommend Gyllbergen.

Newly renovated cottage, with fireplace, which is as cozy during summer as during the winter. Nature outside the door offers beautiful sand beaches, rich fishing waters, cross-country trails, mtb trails and many other outdoor activities. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, large terrace and possibility to rent for a small aluminum boat at the nearby campground for caravans. There is a canoe (not kayak) belonging to the cabin, which belongs to the cabin, a couple of life vests.

Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. See also my guidebook The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

Beautiful old house in Torsåker

Separate two bedroom apartment in turn-of-the-century house, situated on the outskirts of the small village of Torsåker with beautiful views of the hills and fields. Perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. (We are closed over the winter months because of the energy-prices. Welcome back in the spring, we open up again at the end of april 2023!)
