Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Our guest suite is in a quiet residential area in Balerno; a village at the foot of the scenic Pentland Hills. A beautiful spot for walkers and nature lovers. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Plenty outdoor stuff close to hand if you don`t want to go too far.
