Suitable for bicycles and/or Töff drivers as our workshop is located on the ground floor. A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Welcome to the Appenzellerland, in the valley of the New Year's Eve castles, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a beautiful seating area, directly at the Urnäsch (stream) and the post office car stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the '70s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to stay, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, my parents live in the other part of the house (own entrance), but this does not affect them.

Our Hüsli is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fire pit and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the alpine feeling can be enjoyed particularly well from the bench on the front courtyard. Inside it is nice and cozy, with tiled stove and wood stove, cozy living room and spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)
