Modern Mt. Baker - Glacier Cabin

Newly built, contemporary Mt. Baker Ski area cabin in great neighborhood. Enjoy a wood fire in the spacious, open concept living room/kitchen. This private, comfortable and cozy cabin is finished with quality materials and will make you want to come back again and again, we didn't want to leave. The bedroom features a king size memory foam bed that will remind you of a luxury hotel. The bathroom bathroom boasts a custom tile shower and heated floors to keep your feet cozy in the morning. In the kitchen, we chose all stainless steel appliances and have stocked it with quality cookware so you can cook your own gourmet meals. Or, you can go to one of the local bars/restaurants in the small town of Glacier, just up the road. In the living room, there is a wood stove that keeps the entire cabin super warm with minimal effort and for entertainment, there is a digital media player with tons of movies already loaded (or you can bring your own on a USB drive) and an ipod dock for music. In the summer, enjoy our large deck after a solid hike or mountain bike ride and if you have relatives with a camper, we have a perfect level parking spot with power and water. For additional guests, the couch folds into a very comfortable full size bed with all of the appropriate bedding. We do want to keep the guest number to 4 people so the place stays nice for everyone. There is a washer and drier for your laundry needs, as well as a drying rack by the wood stove for your mountain gear. in the winter, Glacier is great for downhill skiing, world class powder at Mt. Baker, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. What people are discovering more and more, is all of the recreation possibilities in Glacier in the summer. Hiking, Mt. Biking, rafting, kayaking and dirt biking are just the beginning.

Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack, and it's eagles and salmon, runs a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future. A final note: we require that you be vaccinated and boosted. Hope you understand.

It is just 45 minutes to the great recreation area of Manning Park, with lots of outdoor activities for all ages and abilities. When at the Retreat, soak up the stream sights and sounds, and the varied flora and fauna. Relax on the deck by the creek, with many activities nearby. Cozy guest home by LK Whatcom and adjacent to our home. Outdoor hot tub, in nice neighborhood but tucked into an acre of woods. Outdoor fire to enjoy. All smoking outside. The backyard is for you so you have the utmost privacy. Easy check in/out. We really want you to feel like you are home! Thorough cleaning before each stay. We want you to feel like you are at home! I do have a big puppy and two cats on the property. I will do my best to accommodate your concerns regarding my animals.

Only 2 hrs from Vancouver, our log cabin in a village has 3 levels, 2 sun decks, 3 bdrms (1 King, 2 Queen), and a loft with a Queen futon and a single mattress. There are 2 bathrooms, a wood burning fireplace, infra-red sauna, Wifi, dishwasher and more. The cabin is in a little village of other cabins so you'll have neighbours. It's not isolated - more like a mountain village than the countryside. Outside is BBQ, Pizza Oven, & gas fire.

A true Canadian wilderness experience in the Sunshine Valley. Two hours from Vancouver and 30 minutes from the Lodge at Manning Park, this gorgeous getaway is a true log home adventure.
