Cute and Comfortable Hood River Studio

Cute west-side studio, close to downtown restaurants, shops, river, wineries, mountain biking and hiking trails. Easy 35 minute drive to Mt. Hood. Perfect for two adults or a family with children who wouldn't mind sharing a comfortable fold up mattress. Upstairs apartment has it's own private entrance with lockable space for equipment and gear. While cleanliness is always a priority, due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Tucked between Cherry orchards, in the Columbia River Gorge, Carroll House, is settled in the quiet idyll of rural bliss. This reclaimed outbuilding was originally built in 1912 and over the years has transformed from tractor storage, auto body repair shop, to flower shop. In 2017 I lovingly transformed it into the vacation home you see today. Mt Hood view studio in the woods, pet friendly!

Guests love the remote, woodsy space despite being only 3 miles from White Salmon. Our .5 mile rural gravel road leads to the dog-friendly studio apartment over the garage with a clear-day view of Mt. Hood from the comfortable king-size bed. You’ll have kitchen, bathroom, and patio with access to trails. We live in the main house next door with our cat and big, friendly 5 year old dog Wilson. We sometimes have guests in our yurt and we often work outside. ALL are welcome!
