La maison de l'etang est une maison typique du massif des Monédieres en pierre de taille. Au bout d'un petit hameau habité , environnée de bois , à coté d'un étang, donne à ce lieu magique une impression d'être en dehors du temps, un véritable havre de paix, de charme , d'authenticité et de silence. Lakeside cabin with space for 1-4 people. This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.
