Our cabin is located 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake, and is on a secluded private road. You have a beautiful view of and access to Black Lake . Cabin is nice & cozy with plenty of room for the whole family. Bonus coffee bar also for all you coffee lovers. Open deck with fire pit. Perfect for secluded get-away or family vacation & near the beautiful Historic Natchitoches for Downtown shopping. The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. After 10PM inquires will be answered the next morning

Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries began the annual drawdown to control the salvinia weed on July 29. There is always water in view of the house and we drag the kayaks to the water's edge to use them. It is also fun to walk in the lake bed once it is dry. Please check out our adjoining property, Shades of Blue!

We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light.
