Walk, cycle, kayak, swim. Book-lined lounge/study with sofa bed, double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, access to secure back garden with fish pond. Dogs welcome if friendly to mine.

Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. This is a beautiful location along the River Clyde and close to the Cloch Lighthouse by Gourock, We welcome dog(s) but we do restrict to a maximum of two animals. As a responsible dog owner you are expected to clean up after them. The caravan has wire mesh around the base to ensure dogs (and toddlers) cannot get under the caravan and make a bid for freedom..
