Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Our guest suite is in a quiet residential area in Balerno; a village at the foot of the scenic Pentland Hills. A beautiful spot for walkers and nature lovers. To visit the city take a 25 minute car drive or the 44 Lothian bus at the end of the road for a 45 min bus ride to Edinburgh City Centre. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea and sugar plus cereal for your first breakfast. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafe & takeaways within a short walk. A parking spot on the drive is available on request.

'The Snug' is a fully licensed, private apartment attached to our Bungalow with its own entrance and is ideal for couples. There are stairs to access the property. Colinton is a lovely residential area. We are a 2 min walk away from a direct bus route into Edinburgh City Centre. The bus takes approx 25 min and stops include Princes Street and Haymarket. It takes 15 min to drive to the City Centre and Edinburgh Airport. Colinton has 2 lovely restaurants, 2 pubs and a Co-op (approx 10min walk).

Waters of Leith and Pentlands are close by. The Historic Colinton Village is 10 minutes walk down the hill.
